Practise listening comprehension skills

Postby Erwin » December 4th, 2007, 11:39 am

We just started 2BDutch. 2BDutch wants to help non-dutch to learn about the dutch culture and language. To achieve that goal, we use online available dutch webvideos (from Google and YouTube) and give them multiple subtitles. So everyone should be able to understand the video. The webvideo's can be used to practise dutch listening skills and to increase the vocabulary.

We are still searching for people that want to help us with subtitles and suggestions for online available webvideo's. And we hope people will react on how they experience the concept. Be welcome to visit our site: (http://www.2bdutch.nl)!

How you can help 2BDutch

Postby Erwin » December 6th, 2007, 10:11 am

Hi Josiah,

2BDutch wants to be an open source project. Different people deliver content (videos and subtitles). At the moment visitor are not able to upload videos. We are working on a site with that kind of facilities.

All right, but how can you help?
a) We really want to know what kind of videos non-dutch are interested in. Please give us also suggestions about the topics of the videos.
b) 2BDutch needs links, so that people can find the site when they are searching on the internet. When you are able to, please give us a link (also links in sites like Facebook, MySpace, LinkedIn are important).
c) On our site you can subscribe to our newsletter, so that you will be informed about the development of 2BDutch.

Many thanks!
