Dutch computer flashcard program Ideas for learning Dutch. What have you tried? What worked for you? What did not work for you?

Hoi allemaal, Ik denk dat dit een heel goed programma is. Het is Before you know it lite (You can buy the full version, but this one is free.) It only takes a minute to download. http://www.byki.com/fls/FLS_ga11.htmlAnyway, it has lots of words that are grouped according to topic. There are 4 different levels for each set of flash cards. It is more fun than boring cardboard flashcards because first you see the English and Dutch words, then you type the English equivalent when you see the Dutch word, then you have to think the Dutch word and see if you were right, then you have to write the Dutch word when you see the English word. I think the reason it works well is because you want to get a good score and be able to beat each level as you're learning. I think you will know more of the words than I did before I did the program a few years ago, but I think that it will help to get your mind into the "I want to learn lots and lots of Dutch words and not forget them mode." They also give you a printed out English and Dutch wordlist that you can print out for reference. I think that it gave me more confidence when I write in Dutch. The only thing is that you have to look up each article of all the words in the program as you go through it, so you would only have to look up about 20 or 30 at a time. If you like the program, you can buy extra flashcards, and you can mix and match the flashcard categories if you buy it. Groetjes,

Joke

"How do you know if users made many mistakes in the program?" Ik weet niet zeker of je dat bedoelde. The word lists that come with the program are supposed to be correct, but you can never be sure of the lists that you can download. I checked some for you. Here are some lists that are correct: 00 Top 60+ words (Dutch), 61 Cards ab Verschillende Bijvoeglijke naamwoorden (Dutch), 23 Cards Animals 1 (Dutch), 15 Cards Animals 3 (Dutch), 15 Cards Asking for Directions (Dutch), 12 Cards At the Restaurant 1 (Dutch), 12 Cards Colors (Dutch), 11 Cards Joke
