[zelfstandig naamwoorden en lidwoorden] Here you can ask anything about Dutch articles ('de', 'het', 'een'), how to make plural nouns, how to make nouns small (diminutives), compound nouns, and everything else related to nouns and articles.

I know that ''geen'' is a short and usual form for ''niet een'', but I wonder, if I can even use the ''niet een'' expression at all in Dutch? Cos in English it goes, you can say ''none'', or ''no one / not one'' for extra stress that there wasn't anyone ... dank je wel!

You can say Ik heb niet één maar twee auto's. So if the een (in these cases rather één) is a number (not an article). However, your question is an interesting one (methinks you should insist on geen but I am also waiting for native speakers' opinions).
Hebben is hebben, maar krijgen is de kunst.

LOL really inventive to think of this: ''niet één maar twee'' ... but I meant the opposite: ''niet een'' as in, f.ex. ''not a soul'', ''not a single one''

"Niet één" is indeed possible, as is "geen één". Both meaning what you said. I would say "geen één" is probably more commonly used.
