Weer, weder, wederom?

[voorzetsels]
Do we buy our train tickets 'in' or 'op' the station? Do we ask 'voor' or 'om' informatie?

Weer, weder, wederom?

(Maybe wrong forum, if so, pls move it to the proper one!)

I was told that weer means the same as wederom, but online I could only find weer and weder, not wederom. Are all 3 possible? If not, which are possible? Thanks!

'Weer' has several different meanings in Dutch, including 'again' and 'weather'.

In the context you're mentioning it means 'again'. 'Wederom' is a synonym for 'weer', although it's a little old-fashioned. 'Weder' is really old, you can't use it anymore in modern Dutch.

Thx for clearing that up, I thought it was just the opposite, cos http://woordenlijst.org/ has weder, but not wederom! :-o

Wederom is listed as well. If you wanna be safe however, just use 'weer'.

Sry, my bad ... will do so^^ ... and weer is shorter :-D

EDIT: I guess the reason for the oldfashioned ones is that in J&J stories might be some older expressions :!:
