Dutch Online/Self Study Courses

Fijne dag allemaal,

I have a question for everyone here. I'm from Canada, and I have been learning Dutch using Rosetta Stone and chatting with native speakers for almost eight months. So far it has been going well, but one day the Rosetta Stone program will be finished. I've been browsing around the forums and looking for tips, but I must have not looked hard enough. I was wondering if anyone knows of any reputable online/self study courses. With my job, I don't have a specified schedule, as in not a 9-5 M-F work week, so an online course to work at my own pace would be more beneficial. I have checked out this one particular website, but I'd like to know if anyone knows more about it and if it's reputable.

Any suggestions at all would be much appreciated, in particular, if there's a course that one can obtain a certificate of completion, that would also be beneficial to me. I am also looking to advance my knowledge and practice more and more Dutch, if anyone can help me with my Dutch, I'd be more than thrilled

50 euros x 10 months = over $700
Are they grading this and providing feedback? It seems kind of high for a book and CDs.

Have you looked inside the book Dutch: A Comprehensive Grammar by Bruce Donaldson on Amazon?

In matters of commerce the fault of the Dutch is offering too little and asking too much.

LOI courses have a good reputation, but I'm not sure whether this course is not too easy when you've already finished rosetta stone. I think they also grade and correct your work. You can order a free trial lesson to see what it looks like. Click on the 'gratis proefles' button at the bottom of the page.

Hello did you sign up for the loi course? If so, how are you finding it. I am looking to sign up with them later this year. At the moment I study with the Dutch Language School http://www.dutchlanguageschool.co.uk I have done 3 courses now with them. Beginners, elementary and now GCSE. I need more knowledge before I can go on to do the ALevel course. I look forward to hearing from you. I am new to this forum.

Please contact me if you look for a good course.
I can help you much better than LOI.
Of course you are free to spend your money on LOI.
LOI is not the expert though who is able to consult if you are in need of passing a specific exam.
I can tell you what you can achieve and how you should achieve it ...

Hello my name is Sharon. I live in the UK. I am learning Dutch as I am half Dutch. I am studying via the Dutch Language school in the Uk and this summer will take my GCSE exam. I was going to do a course with Loi when my GCSE is finished. According to your post it seems you may offer a better course. Can you give me some information as I would like to work towards the NT2 Level 1 exam when my GCSE is finished as I beleive it to be a bit higher than GCSE.
