Hello everyone! I am a new member and I am not sure this is the right section to post my topic in. I had some troubles with my accomodation and now I need some help. I am sending a registred letter to my landlord, can anyone please correct this letter for me? I thank everyone in advance!

De huur begon op 6 december and ik verliet het pand eind Mei. Zoals u zelf bewust bent staat er in sectie 7.1 van ons contract dat het volle bedrag terug moet worden gegeven binnen 8 weken van het afsluiten van ons contract.

Omdat het bedrag niet is terug gegeven binnen het afgesproken tijdslimiet verzoek ik u vriendelijk om het bedrag binnen 7 dagen toch te restitueren op het rekening nummer aangegeven beneden in mijn brief. verder vind u daar nog overige informatie die van belang kan zijn voor de transactie

"Afsluiten" can indeed mean "end" in some context, but in this case you're actually saying almost the opposite of what you mean - "het afsluiten van een contract" means "the signing of a contract" (rather like in English, where you can use "conclude an agreement" even though that's actually the start of the agreement).

I think most of the other corrections should be clear (if a word is blue with no correction to be seen, it means I pasted two words together that you'd written separately while they belong together), your text was very good on the whole.

Oh, but I do hope you meant to write "Met vriendelijke groeten" in the actual letter and were just using the abbreviation here.
